The Playhouse is a design project that celebrates the joy of family living through colours, shapes, and forms. Inspired by the fluidity of organic shapes and the vibrancy of natural hues, the apartment transforms into a dynamic space where play, comfort, and connection.

At the heart of the design is a centralised family gathering area, envisioned as the anchor of the home. This space not only brings members together but also flows seamlessly into other zones, reinforcing the idea of shared moments and openness.

A key consideration of The Playhouse is the open play area for children, designed to encourage imagination and interaction. The layout embraces curved forms and playful accents, shaping an environment that inspires imagination while maintaining a sense of safety and comfort.

The kitchen is reimagined as both functional and family-oriented. A thoughtfully placed circular window allows parents to keep an eye on children during play while cooking. More than a practical feature, the round shape adds a playful architectural flair, tying back to the project’s emphasis on organic forms and soft geometries. Most importantly, it encourages parents to be more present, seamlessly connecting daily routines into meaningful daily life.

Colours, shapes, and forms play a crucial role in defining the design language. Soft organic curves create a sense of movement, while a lively yet balanced colour palette adds warmth and energy. Together, they transform the apartment into more than just a living space—it becomes a home that nurtures growth, play, and togetherness.

The Playhouse is more than an interior—it is an invitation to live freely, play openly, and gather joyfully.
