Lived in for over a decade, the time had come to revamp their home. Prem and Durga, our clients, sought to transform their living space into a haven that reflected their modern Indian culture while evoking the serene ambiance of Bali villa interiors they adore. Their hectic teaching schedules have fueled their vision for a space to unwind and recharge.
Understanding their yearning for a harmonious blend of cultures, we embarked on a journey to infuse their home with elements that resonate deeply with their identities. At the heart of the living area, we meticulously curated a collection of artisanal wooden wall panels. These panels, adorned with intricate designs, stand as the focal point of the living space, complemented by the soft glow of rattan lamps, reminiscent of Balinese charm.
Drawing inspiration from the diverse cultural heritage and traditions, we have intentionally handpicked furnishing with a specific attention to natural materials, traditional patterns or motifs and specific use of colour. Each piece was chosen aiming to create a harmonious symphony of textures and hues that resonate with Prem and Durga's unique aesthetic preferences.
Having an understanding of their children’s lifestyle and colour preference. We dive into each of their room, creating a personal identity that speaks their personality.

With both their children's ages ranging from 9-11, our objective was to create rooms with a timeless appeal, serving as safe yet stylish space for their ongoing growth. Stepping into each room, you could effortlessly guess the children's interests and hobbies.
Another one of our favorite spaces is the Master bedroom, where we've curated a captivating ambiance. When turned on, the brass hanging lamps cast a warm glow with beautiful motifs, while original teak Umpaks, reclaimed from aged Javanese structures, offer an authentic touch to the space. Earthy jute-textured floor rugs provide a tactile element, complemented by brass elephant handles, adding character and detail to the wardrobe. The bed is also dressed with crisp white linens and bright luxurious velvet cushions that speak to relaxation and indulgence. We added deep blue accents to the space, as it's Prem’s favorite colour, drawing a deep sense of calmness and character in both the Master bathroom and bedroom.
